The Five Foundations Of First Baptist Church
"Apply 5 To Thrive"

Worship - John 4:20-23
The celebration of God for who he is and what he does. Our joyful reflection of God's worth. Worship is first realized in a daily routine of praising God through your lifestyle, then publicly assembling together for a corporate display
Evangelism - 1Corinthians 16:1-4
Actively sharing the good news of the gospel to unbelievers, for the purpose of "winning" them to a new life of Christ. The gospel consists of the message of salvation that Jesus Christ died a sacrificial death and was resurrected
Ministry - 1Peter 4:10-11
Serving God with sincerity and humbly serving others in the "Body of Christ," by using your spiritual gift to build up the members of the church and those in deepest need
Discipleship - Matthew 26:19-20
The development and mentoring process of the local church that progressively brings Christians from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. Consequently, they should then reproduce this process with someone else
Fellowship - 1John 1:3
The mutual sharing of a life in Christ among believers. God's intent that the body of Christ exists as a living organism, designed to enhance spiritual relationships between believers. The outgrowth of these relationships should result in encouragement, companionship and self-sacrificing love
