Usher Ministry

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain.”

        I Corinthians 15:58

Purpose:  The above scripture comes to mind when thinking of the Usher Ministry. 

God has made us much more than that.  As ushers, we have the privilege of meeting and greeting the body of Christ, family, friends, neighbors and visitors as they enter into worship. 

We are blessed with the ability to serve.  We serve as the doorkeepers and the overseers.  God uses us to minister to those entering into worship with a kind word, warm smile, handkerchief or even a glass of water.  As we serve as doorkeepers, seat people and collect the offering, we know that we honor the Lord by having a servant’s heart!
